Shire Christian’s Secondary School is a supportive Christian learning community with teachers who are passionate educators.

Our teachers use Christian wisdom to equip our students to be life long learners. Students are encouraged to set challenging academic goals and persevere in their learning. Teachers work with every student to harness their individual strengths, helping them to develop a growth mindset and enjoy learning.

Shire Christian seeks to cater for students with a wide range of academic abilities and interests. The school desires for every student to learn to the best of his or her ability to maximise their learning outcomes.

The school has been greatly encouraged to see students achieving at the highest levels in the HSC each year, with some students placing first in the state. However, our greatest satisfaction is seeing all of our students improve in their learning.

Notwithstanding the importance of academic achievement, there are many essential features of a Christian education that can’t be easily measured through results. Shire Christian School believes that every child is made in the image of God and is loved and valued by our teachers. Our teachers desire to see every child establish meaningful relationships and develop skills, qualities and attributes that will equip them to embrace life’s challenges in a way that is honouring to God.
